Al-Hind Public school was established by Pengattussery Muslim Jama-ath educational and Charitable trust in 2005 in order to provide quality education to the children of local residents at reasonable cost. The school has a vision to achieve all round personality of children and equip them for the modern competitive world. Besides the curricular and co-curricuals activities prescribed to the students to inculcate basic human values to them. The school works under Pengattussery Muslim Jama-Ath Educational and Charitable Trust. The school is adjacent to the Pengattussery Jama-Ath Mosque, which is one among the biggest Mosques in Kerala.
